Neon published the first official trailer of “Vox Lux” with Natalie Portman as protagonist and Raffey Cassidy as co-star. Vox Lux is a musical drama written and directed by Brady Corbet, and is scheduled for release in theaters next December 7.

On October 2, Raffey was a front-row guest at the Miu Miu show at Paris Fashion Week. The label showed off their Spring/Summer 2019 collection on historic Cour Carrée at the Louvre in Paris, and Raffey shared the front-row with Kate Mara, Julia Garner, Juliette Lewis, Poppy Delevingne, Olivia Palermo, Alexa Chung, Larsen Thompson, Aymeline Valade, Stacy Martin and Dree Hemingway. Some photos have already been added to the gallery and are of high quality. Enjoy them!
Check out the new music video for the band The Kooks, entitled Four Leaf Clover! Raffey appears as protagonist!
On Tuesday, during the day Raffey attended the photocall and press conference of her new movie “Vox Lux” with the actresses Stacy Martin and Natalie Portman, and the director Brady Corbet at Sala Casino in the 75th Venice Film Festival. She wore a beautiful dress designed by Louis Vuitton. (Click here to see the video of the conference)
Finally the first preview of the new Raffey movie “Vox Lux” is out! Look at it below. The film was officially released on September 4 in Italy during the Venice Film Festival. Soon I will update the gallery with the beautiful images of the festival.
Straying from their usual ‘destination’ ad campaigns, Miuccia Prada and her team at Miu Miu chose to display their Fall 2018 collections throughout the living rooms of suburbia.
Titled “The Conversation,” the girls are shown sitting amongst velvet jewel-toned upholstery, perhaps anticipating a night on the town. Creative Director and Stylist Katie Grand and Photographer Alasdair McLellan started their own conversation by introducing new Hollywood talents, as well as several seasoned models, to these simple velvet-filled backdrops.
Elle Fanning is no surprise, as she typically appears in Miu Miu campaigns, but other talents Rowan Blanchard and Raffey Cassidy are both making their first appearances representing the company. It was especially wise for the team to use Blanchard, whose career includes starring in A Wrinkle in Time and becoming very politically active, to portray the sophisticated yet youthful designs. Cassidy was also a strategic choice, as she is a 15-year-old actress who has only recently broken out into the world of Hollywood by appearing in films such as Tomorrowland and Snow White and the Huntsman.
McLellan positioned the women in suburban homes, surrounded by similar toned colors, giving the campaign a familiar and welcoming feeling. By doing so, “The Conversation” reinvents the views of ‘suburban living.’
Perhaps a more appropriate title for the campaign is “Anticipation” as the young women are seen preparing to go out for the night. To see new people and new experiences. To start new conversations. Here is to hoping that this campaign will continue to be a conversation starter for the house.
